AIYC Program Reminders

As per the request of some community members, we would like to remind you about the AIYC youth center programs in Edmonton, Alberta.

1. Every Friday Youth Forum from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Different topics with different facilitators to be discussed. This program has been running successfully in the past ten years and many youth have benefited from this forum.

2. Every Saturday morning 9:30 AM science of Tajweed classes for all level. You will learn the correct recitation of the Qur’an

3. Sunday School from 10:30AM to 12:30 for age 5 and up with qualified Arabic teachers. Your youth will learn the Arabic language and also Islamic knowledge

4. Group activities during week days and weekends

Accredited leadership Program:

Youth Journey to Leadership: This is one year program with 12 sessions (Each month one session). We are open for registration; if we get enough people we will start it this month InshaAllah . This program will enhance youth leadership skills and help them to be eligible for scholarships. The cost for the whole 12 sessions is $50.00 just to cover the training materials

Physical Development opportunities:

1. Young Star Soccer Academy ( 5 and up) every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
2. Girls Soccer program every Sunday
3. Youth soccer every Wednesday

Incoming Art Show on Feb. 13, at the Youth Center (Please see the attached poster) + many workshops and seminars.
