United Eid Prayer – Nov. 27th, 2009

The new moon signaling the start of the Month of Dhul Hijjah was visually confirmed in North America on the evening of Tuesday November 17, 2009. InshaAllah the Day of Arafah, the 9th of Dhul Hijjah 1430 AH will be on Thursday November 26, 2009 and Eid Ul Adha, 10th of Dhul Hijjah 1430 AH, will be on Friday, November 27, 2009.

United Eid-al-Adha Prayer

Where: Edmonton Expo Centre (Northlands AgriCom), 7515 118th Avenue (see map below), Halls F, G & H

Al-Rashid Eid Prayers
When: November 27th, 2009
Time: 9:00AM

Please note that there will be a BBQ after the prayers, including gifts for children, Fun Games, Trampoline, Popcorn, and food.

If you are attending the United Eid Prayer at the Edmonton Expo Centre, please remember to bring your own prayer mats and plastic bag for footwear, and a $10 donation per family to help defray the costs of the facility. There will only be one prayer (as there is plenty of space), so make sure to come early so you can get parking and make it for the takbeer.
