Maturity and its Responsibilities

The Markaz Ul Islam youth committee has arranged for two sessions aimed at discussing and teaching our young brothers and sisters on matters related to maturity, puberty and growing up. These are topics that parents are not comfortable discussing with their children or just do not know how to bring it up. These are matters of great importance that can only be addressed properly in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.

We strongly ecourage parents to send their youth between the ages of 12-20 for this session. There are two sessions one for boys and another one for girls.

The Boys session for ages 12-20 will be held on Saturday, January 16 following Dhuhr Salah @ 1 PM.

The Sisters Session for ages 12-20 will be held on Sunday, January 17 following Dhuhr Salah @ 1 PM.

The content for both sessions will be provided by Imam Iqbal Subrathi. The Boys session will be moderated by Imam Subrathi and the sisters session will be moderated by a sister from the Women’s Committee.

All sessions will be held at the Markaz Ul Islam Mosque in South Edmonton.
Refreshments will be served following each event.
